HUB

Shop fit outs are really inspiring and challenging projects to work on. There's so much to think about, from the way stock will sit in the space to how to create a good environment for staff to work in.

I've been working with Georgie and Lou at HUB for many years now and after working on smaller refits for their Ada St and menswear shops, they were looking to completely redesign and refurbish their flagship womenswear shop on Stoke Newington Church St.

We wanted to create a modular and flexible retail display system that could be re-arranged by shop staff to suit stock and seasonal changes. I had been working on a pegboard design that suited the new space and allowed the staff to change up the space as needed.

The next step was to create some slick window displays to showcase mannequins and smaller items so I made a series of tiles plinths that added a nice glossy accent to the space. The shop counter was custom designed and built to service the needs of shop staff, with specially designed draws and shelves for magentic shop tags, tissue paper and paper bags.

This complete redesign has transformed the space and created a better space for staff to work in, as well as improving the customer experience.
